These are tips on how to choose a good secondary school: • The student-to-teacher ratio needs to be fairly low so that one's child would get enough attention. This way, the development of the child won't be ignored or forgotten by teachers. • One should know the school's policy on what is considered to be disruptive behavior and how they handle these incidents. They should also be able to fully agree with it. • There should be a written policy on dealing with behavioral issues and discipline. The school staff should be trained and know how to deal with it effectively. • Schools should discourage bullying and should take action to prevent and handle bullying. • The school should have a safe and clean environment. Children must have a good learning environment to make good progress in their future. • The school actively discourages any behavior that may lead to suspended or expelled.
