'Obverse III22– Doubled 882 in date. Slightly doubled left 8 at right outside of upper loop and left inside of lower loop'and 2 at top outside. Right 8 strongly doubled on left outside of upper loop and slightly on bottom outside of lower loop. Early die states show diagonal bar below left 8 with length and slight curve of top of 1 and diagonal ends that match 1 top shape and polishing lines below first two right stars and at wheat leaves top. Raised dots in left 8 upper loop and on right 8 upper loop left surface.
Reverse C3b– Polishing roughness around left star, UNITED, and STATES OF. Some doubled leaves in left wreath and bottom of right wreath. Slight doubling at top of STATES OF.

Obverse III22– Die has been polished removing die clash n and polishing lines at right stars and diagonal bar of 1 top MPD below left 8. VAM-2B has doubled 882 of VAM 2 but doesn't have MPD 1 top below left 8 or polishing roughness around legend of VAM-2

Obverse III22– Clashed die that has been polished as in VAM 2B. Further clashing with slight die rotation that produced one or two curved clashed lines at top of left and right wreaths. Single curved clash line shows doubled upper lip from counter clash and double curved clash line also shows small die break at back of Phrygian cap from die clashing.
The counterclash is the stage difference - early 2C is just the counterclash, later it also has the break.

Obverse: III22 - Small die gouges at top of right wheat leaf below B, top of Phrygian cap next to wheat leaf and in denticles above L in PLURIBUS.
Reverse: C3b - Heavy striated vertical die gouges from denticles up to lower right side of O in DOLLAR. Unusual large winged die gouge thru top of left L. Multiple die clash marks at top reverse.

Obverse III5 2 - Clashed dies again with slightly rotated Rev CW with faint partial incuse "I" bottom of "In" from reverse showing next to Liberty head neck and partial incuse "u" top of "Trust" from Reverse in right hair vee of lower hair edge and sliver of "s" top next to right hair curve.

Obverse III2-3 - Doubled date with 1 slightly doubled below bottom cross bar. First 8 slightly doubled on left and right inside of upper loop. Second 8 and 2 doubled at top and upper left side. Date set close ro rim. Ear slightly doubled at lower right inside and bottom outside.
Reverse C3c - Right C of mint mark set low. Two short diagonal die gouges on inside of eagles left wing next to the body on later states

Obverse III2 3–Very late die state with crack continuing from Phrygian cap thru wheat leaves to field in front of LIBERTY where there is a displaced field break in front of the LIBERTY band.
Later die states show die chips along the crack through E•P.

Obverse III25– 882 doubled in date. Left 8 slightly doubled on right outside with raised dot at top inside of upper loop. Slightly doubled right 8 at top outside, lower left outside of upper loop and right outside of lower loop and 2 at top outside, top inside and right outside of upper loop. Slightly doubled top of Phrygian cap and cotton leaves and bolls. 882 doubled. Closed 2.
Reverse C3a– Die marker– Short die scratch at top left of T in UNITED.
