1921-D VAM-1E Die Break Obverse Star

1E (revised) IV 1 D2a (Die Break Obverse Star) (189) I-3 R-7
Obverse IV 1- Thick raised die break bar from rim horizontally through first left star to neck. Break continues as thin line from right side of neck to hair. Late die states show verticle crack from dennticle to first right stsr with die chip at left of star.
The VAM-1E coin is defined by a horizontal die break running from rim through first star then through Liberty's neck.

The very late die state of VAM-1E has displaced metal on the star from a vertical crack.
