  • Doubled Date, Pitting in OL, Clashed Obverse I & ust. Part of the Super CD collection. Strong die clash marks around lips with partial incuse I of In from reverse next to Liberty head neck and partial incuse u of Trust from reverse in right hair vee of lower hair edge. Also, the VAM-4B is a double clash episode where the letter transfer occurred during the second clash. This is evidenced by the clash marks above Eagle's right wing, and at the tip of the left wreath top leaf tip. There is a single clashed version without letter transfer, which is a VAM-4A.

2.4 Deg. The lower wing line is anchored at the far clash mark toward the chin. The slight "v" clash caused by the ending of a lower wing feather is matched. The clash line from the outer wreath leaf is matched to the chin line. The clash line from the right edge of the "I" is matched to the neck line. The upper wing line is matched to the corresponding clash line at the neck. This clash event positioned nearly the entire "I" onto the field. A primary crecent shaped clashed "I" corresponds to the overlay.

4.8 Deg. The lower wing line is anchored at the near clash mark toward the neck. The slight "v" clash caused by the ending of a lower wing feather is matched. The clash line from the middle wreath leaf is matched to the chin line. The clash line from the middle of the "I" is matched to the neck line. The upper wing line is matched to the corresponding clash line at the neck. This clash event positioned approximately one half of the "I" onto the field. || A secondary crescent shaped clashed "I" corresponds to the overlay. As predicted by the distance of the middle of the "I" to the wing being shorter than the distance of the right edge of the "I" to the wing, this secondary clashed "I" is closer to the wing clash from the neck line than is the primary clashed "I". Notice that there is a third clashed "I" higher up the neck line, closer to the wing clash, and less onto the field. ||
