1921-S VAM-4 Dot Below Right Wing

Discovered by Steve Sabella, June 1979.
4 (revised) IV2 - D2c (Dot Below Wing, Doubled Date & Stars, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-3 R-4
Reverse D2c - Very small circular raised dot on field between eagle's left wing and arrow shafts and under eagle's jaw.
Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle’s left wing and body.
Die marker - Raised dot between bottom of eagle's left wing and arrow shafts. Later die state has polished away scribbling.
1- The 1921-S VAM-4 has a small dot below the Eagle's left wing. This is one of the mysterious 1921 Dot Coins. There is a page documenting other 1921-S Dots

My example has significant die erosion on the obverse as evidenced by lines under the date.
