1921-S VAM-1AN Die Gouges Above Wings

Reverse D2a– Wide die gouge from top of eagle’s right wing thru lower loop of left S in STATES. Gouge further left than VAM 1H. Two faint wide gouges from tip of eagle’s left wing up to rim on right side of F in OF plus faint wide gouge below left A in AMERICA. Likely caused by faulty press feed fingers.

Comments:
1. Die gouges plated here are clearly in a different position than VAM 1H as noted. VP
