1921-P VAM-8 Dot Next to Wing

Discovered by Steve Sabella,June 1979.
8 IV4 D2b (Dot Next to Wing, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-4 R-3
Obverse IV4- Very small circular raised dot to left of M in UNUM.
Reverse D2b- Small circular raised dot on field next to eagle's right wing. Possibly used to identify first dies of D2 reverse.
Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg, between eagle's left wing and body and in middle of eagle's right wing. Die marker - Raised dot at bottom of eagle's right wing. Later die states have heavy vertical polishing line thru right side of G in God.
