1921-P VAM-3T Die Breaks 1 & Wing Tip

3T IV 1 • D2a (Die Breaks 1 & Wing Tip, Scribbling Die Scratches #59) (189) I-3 R-6
Obverse IV 1– Die crack from base of left 1 over to rim below neck tip with displaced field.
Reverse D2a– Die breaks from eagle’s right wing top up to denticles and left to top of D in UNITED. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle's left wing and body.
Die marker - Double horizontal die scratch at left inside of eagle's left leg feathers.
1- The VAM-3T has both obverse and reverse die breaks.
An neat retained cud can be seen forming where a displaced field exists under the date. There is a die crack from the left bottom of the 1 over to the rim below the neck tip.

On the reverse there are die breaks from left wing (as viewed) of the Eagle's wing
An interesting feature can be seen at the top of the 1 in the date.
The former 1921-P VAM-3CX scribbling scratches was discovered to be the 1921-P VAM-3T (thus, VAM-3CX eliminated). This VAM shows unique "doubled" scribbles, which are not from die doubling but likely due to the instrument that made the scribbles having two "points" that etched into the die side by side.
