1921-P VAM-3AO1 Pitted Die Third Right Star

Discovered by Gene Gress, September 2005.
3AO1 (revised) IV 1 · D2a (Pitted Die Third Right Star, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-2 R-5
Obverse IV 1– Pitted die from some rust spots on left side and above third right star.
Comments:
VAM-3AO may be earlier die state of VAM-3AI. Also, an EDS version with no obverse pitting exists.
