1921-P VAM-39 Dot on Wing

Discovered by Michael Fey, February 2004. Revised 2010.
39 (revised) IV 1 · D2g (Dot on Wing, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-2 R-5
Obverse IV 1– Slightly tripled 4-7 left stars.
Reverse D2g– Small circular raised dot in middle of eagle’s left wing. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle’s left wing and body. Die marker- Short diagonal polishing line on sixth feather from bottom of eagle's left wing. (Formerly VAM-3CJ)
