1921-P VAM-32A "Capped A" Die Break
Discovered by Paul Pierce, August 2002.
32A IV 26 · D2a (Quadrupled Right Stars, Capped A Die Break, Scribbling Die Scratches #77 (189) I-3 R-6
Obverse IV 26– Late die state shows die chip inside bottom of 2.
Reverse D2a– Heavy die crack thru tops of AMERICA letters. Two die cracks from right star to top of last A in AMERICA and continuing up to rim above C with die break above last A on later die states. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. Die marker - Single horizontal polishing line below third berry cluster from bottom of left wreath , on right side.
