1921-P VAM-28 Infrequently Reeded, Doubled Jaw Front

Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, October 1978.
This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM.
28(revised) IV 22 · D1a (Infrequently Reeded, Doubled Jaw Front) (157) R-4
Obverse IV 22- Front of jaw very slightly doubled. All left stars very slightly doubled on surface towards rim. 4-6 right stars very slightly tripled towards rim.
Reverse D1a- Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg.
Die marker – IR variety 6 with many SE diagonal die polishing lines in lower part of eagle’s left wing.
