Reverse D1a- Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. Die marker - Vertical polishing lines patch between eagle's right wing and D in UNITED and horizontal die gouge above bow right ribbon.
Comments: The 21-P VAM-1AQ Discovery Coin is an early die state PL coin that shows a peculiar patch of die polishing lines between the right wing and the D in UNITED:
