1921-P VAM-19 Quadrupled Left Stars

Discovered by Brent Fogelberg, November 2000.
19 (revised) IV 13 · D1a (Quadrupled Left Stars, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-2 R-5
Obverse IV 13– Left stars slightly quadrupled to quintupled towards rim. Right stars slightly doubled to tripled towards rim as are E PL-RIB-S letters and 19 in date.
Reverse D1a- Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. Die marker - Thin curved polishing line below left side on M in AMERICA.
1 - Early die stages have the same type of spikes from the denticles on the obverse that are seen on VAM 88A.
