14(revised) IV 9 · D2a (Tripled Stars, Missing o in God) (189) I-3 R-5
Obverse IV 9 - Left stars and E–PL tripled towards rim with date digits and right stars very slightly doubled towards rim. Slightly doubled profile from hair down to neck. Die marker - Die polishing lines in RT of LIBERTY.
Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. Die marker - Tiny dot at right edge of middle of eagle’s left wing.
Comments:
1- A filled letter was found on a VAM-14 coin. The O in GOD is missing. For a filled R in trust see VAM-14A
2- Some specimens show die fill striking error with o in God almost missing and second T in STATES weak.
