1921-D VAM-1T Scribbling Die Scratches #22 (Formerly VAM 1CU)

1T IV 1 D2a (Scribbling Die Scratches # 22) (189) I-2 R-5
Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body.
- Die Marker - Vertical die scratch in the middle of eagle's left wing. Polishing lines in middle of wings and tail feathers. (Formerly VAM 1CU)
Comments:
1- VAM-1T was refined and revised in November of 2011 and split into VAM-1T listed for scribbles only, and VAM-1T1 & VAM-1T2 listed for extensive die breaks.

VAM-1T has a unique rim-to-rim die crack across the obverse running through Liberty's face!
The T shaped crack next to the 2nd left star on the rim-to-rim crack is also a good pickup point for the variety.
Late die states of the VAM 1T exhibit an amazing, long rim-to-rim obverse die crack.
