1921-D VAM-1AK2 Die Gouge E #3, Scribbling Die Scratches #59, Dot Above 1
1AK2 IV 1 D2a (Die Gouge E #3, Scribbling Die Scratches #59, Dot Above 1) (189) I-2 R-7
Obverse IV 1- Circular raised dot above right 1 in date.
Reverse D2a - Small 1D mint mark centered and slightly tilted to left
1- In May 2005, Larry Galbraith noticed that there is a dot above the 1 in the date.
2- In July 2009 Leroy put forth that the dot above the second 1 in the date is actually an LDS feature and created the VAM-1AK2 (assumes that the 1AK1 does not have this dot). It is unclear if an "undotted" state has been confirmed. See 1921-D VAM-1AK for details.
