1902-O VAM-8 Doubled Profile, Near Date, 2 Olive Reverse, O/O Down

Discovered by Del Ford, July 1966.

Reverse C4/C3k– III O mint mark re-punched with original showing as a thin curved line at lower left outside and as a thin vertical line with a curve at top on right inside. Extra olive to right of olive connected to olive branch. Doubling on top of olive branch at right of olives, at base of olive leaf clusters, on end of second arrow feather next to olive branch, middle talon on eagle’s right leg, on right side of two innermost right wing feathers next to leg, right of eagle’s nostril and eye, and back of lower arrow head. UNI-ED TAT of doubled faintly toward rim.

Comments:
1. The VAM-8 is known to come in PL.
