Obverse III215– Doubled nose, lips and chin on Liberty head profile. Date set further left than normal.
Die markers - Vertical polishing lines in hair below LI in LIBERTY. Die scratches on upper lip.
Reverse C4n– Sightly doubled UNITED STATES OF AMERICA letters at lower inside towards rim. III O mint mark centered and upright.
Die marker - Vertical die scratch below tail feathers.

Die marker- Die scratches on upper lip are actually VAM 49 obverse. It is not present on VAM 44. Corrections to both pages and Leroy Van Allen's official descriptions will be made to fix both listings.
