Obverse III219– Doubled left inside and lower right outside of ear, hair above ear, bottom of upper cotton bolls and left side of lower leaves. Slightly doubled Liberty head profile from forehead to chin. Eyelid tripled at front.
Reverse C4m– Same hub doubling as on VAM-26 C4l. Centered III O mint mark. Die Marker: Fine raised dots of die rust patch in middle of Eagle's left wing.

1. This coin shares the same obverse as the 1902-O VAM-43 Die #2
2. an additional specimen with no raised dots or polishing in the wing has been found by Brian Raines. Has same die crack in America, same mintmark and position. C4m reverse.
