1901-S VAM-14 Slanted Date, 0 in Denticles

14 III2 7 - C3a (Slanted Date, 0 in Denticles) (189) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 7- Slanted date with rght 1 higher than left 1 and in normal lateral position. Top of 0 showing in denticle space between 90 as slightly curved raised bar well back in space.
Reverse C3a – S mintmark set slightly high
1. From Leroy Van Allen's letter: "01 S - New VAM 14. Yes, has unlisted top of 0 in denticle space between 90 as slightly curved raised bar well back in space. Looks like top of 0 that has less curvature than 9.... slightly slanted date. First MPD for 1901 S!"

3. Very good possibility, this VAM-14 is a duplicate of VAM-11.
