1901-O VAM-12 2 Olive Reverse

Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, January 1979.
12 III2 1 - C4/C3a (2 Olive Reverse) (181) I-3 R-3
Reverse C4/C3a- Shallow extra olive to right of olive connected to branch, Doubling on top of olive branch at right of olives, at base of top and left olive leaf cluster, faintly on end of second arrow feather next to olive branch, back of lower arrow head, right side of eagle's nostril and eye and on right of two innermost right wing feathers next to leg. Mint mark set slightly to right.

1. One of the better pick-up-points may be the die gouges in the space between the eagle's right wing and the body.--CLM
