1899-S VAM-10 S/S Top Serif

Discovered by Guy Messing, June 1975.
10 III2 1 - C3g (S/S Top Serif) I-2 R-4
Obverse III2 1 - Open 9's.
Reverse C3g - Narrow, medium mint mark set slightly high and tilted right with top serif doubled as a vertical line at top left and a spike inside of lower loop.

1. Since VAM numbers are assigned by die classification, and not just by die pairing, multiple die pairings may exist.
