1898-S VAM-10 Near Slanted Date, S Tilted Far Right

Discovered by Martin Field, December 1981.
10 III2 7 - C3g (Near Slanted Date, S Tilted Far Right) (187) I-3 R-4
Obverse III2 7 - Near date with slight slant with 1 closest to rim.
Reverse C3g - Medium S mint mark centered and tilted very far to the right.

Note the slight undocumented doubling on the inside top of the top loop.

Note the small die chip along the die crack in the lower hair that appears to be quite common in the 1898-S.

This LDS has a little die break on the tip of the right wing (viewers left).

This is a lamination defect.
