Obverse III2 1- Normal die of III2 obverse.
Reverse C3b– Some doubled leaves in left and right wreaths. Doubled bottom inside of UNITED STATES OF AME towards rim. Doubled tops of In God We Trust.
1. The only die pair known to produce genuine examples of the circulation issue of this key date. Many skillfully executed forgeries exist, authentication by competent professionals is recommended.
LVA Plate Photos:
Left edge of the base of the 1 is over the left edge of the third denticle. Right edge of the base of the 1 is over the right half of the fourth denticle.

Note: The several nearly horizontal and parallel lines to the right of Morgan's initial at the base of bust
Vertical lines may be seen between Liberty's lips and inside her nostril, several others at base of nostril
Polishing lines inside the letters of LIBERTY in two different stages of the obverse die. Earlier pieces (left photo) have numerous thin lines with several stronger ones, later (on right) examples tend to show only the stronger lines.
Short die scratch above the inner talon of eagle's left (viewer's right) foot. Often hidden by dirt & wear.
Minor doubling may be seen on several letters of the upper reverse. Note the tops of the letters GOD.
