1890-S VAM-5 S/S Right

5 (revised) III2 1 - C3d (S/S Right, Scribbles Face) I-3 R-5
Obverse III 2 1 - Liberty head face has scribbling die scratches at top and rear plus bottom edge of jaw, chin,front of eye and above and below mouth plus back of neck.
Die marker- Diagonal die scratch thru top right of T and top left of Y in LIBERTY
Reverse C3d - IV S mint mark repunched with original showing to right of the upper serif with 3 notches and slight notch at bottom left of lower serif. Mint mark set high with slight tilt to left.
Die marker- Die polishing lines in eagle's wing-neck gap.
