1889-P VAM-24 8 in Denticles, Doubled Ear, Polishing Lines in Cotton Bolls

Discovered by Bill Van Note, November 1998.
24(revised) III2 22 C3a (8 in Denticles, Doubled Ear, Polishing Lines in Cotton Bolls) (190 ) I-3 R-5
Obverse III2 22 - Top of 8 showing in denticles as raised curved bar in two denticle spaces to right the second 8. Ear slightly doubled at right inside, top right outside and bottom outside. Date in normal position.
Diagnostic - Heavy diagonal polishing lines in cotton bolls and leaves. 8 in denticles. Same die as former VAM-35.
