1888-S VAM-14 Doubled Upper Right Obverse, S/S Upper Loop

14 III2 8 - C3b (Doubled Upper Right Obverse, S/S Upper Loop ) (186) I-3 R-5
Obverse III2 8 - Doubled upper right including top and lower inside of RIBUS UN towards rim, top and upper back of Phrygian cap, top edge of upper right cotton leaf, upper right edge of wheat leaves and hair below cotton bolls. Slightly doubled nose edge.
Reverse C3b - Repunched mint mark with original showing as curved line on left side of upper loop opening.

Comments:
1. This reverse shared with VAM-2 .
2. The top of the B is one of the easier pick up points. The eagle has a die chip on top of his head. The VAM-2 Late Die State (LDS) has this same chip.
