1887-P VAM-27A - Far Date, Clashed Obverse n

Discovery 2014 Squirrel
27A III226 - C3a (Far Date, Clashed Obverse n) (?) I-2 R-5
Obverse III226 - Die 1 - Clashed die with partial incuse n of In from reverse showing next to Liberty head neck.
Reverse C3a - Die 1 - Die marker - Diagonal polishing lines between middle and lower arrow shafts. Single heavy diagonal polishing line in neck-wing gap.

1. Same dies used as VAM 27, but with the letter N clashed onto the obverse die from the reverse.
2. It has been said that the actual transferred "n" clash didn't survive long. BE SURE THE "n" CLASH IS VISIBLE, otherwise your coin would be a VAM-27.
3. The n shows faint on specimens found,a strong clashed n specimen will be a rare find,
4. Can be found with and without die break on reverse.
