1887-P VAM-19 7 in Denticles, Very Far Date

Discovered by Leroy Van Allen March, 2002. Revised 2013
19 (revised) III2 18 · C3a (7 in Denticles, Very Far Date) (190) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 18– Top of 7 shown in denticles as raised curved bar in denticle space below 7 and raised notched bar in adjacent denticle space to left. Date set much further right than normal but close to far date position and slightly slanted with 1 close to rim.
Die marker- Polishing lines in T of LIBERTY.
Reverse C3a -
Die marker - polishing lines in wing-neck gap.

2. Revised Feb-2013 same obv & rev dies as 19A ,but earlier die state. No doubling on ear that must have occurred later from die polishing.
