4A III2 4 - C3a (Doubled 188 Strong, Die Rust Pitting Liberty Head) (190) I-2 R-6
Obverse III2 4 - Die rust pitting and splotches on Liberty head primarily at back of face and neck with die file lines on spot below ear.
Reverse C3a - Light die rust pitting with a few concentrated spots on eagle's left wing.

1. As noted on VAM-4 page, this coin is the 1st coin on this die progression. VAM-4 is a clean cheek and neck area only, produced from the constant striking of this marriage.
