1885-P VAM-24 Alligator Eye

24 III222 · C3a (Alligator Eye) (189) I-3 R-4
Obverse III222– Eye doubled on front and eyelash doubled at front point. Double back of nostril, hair below ear and designer’s initial M. Slightly doubled LIBERTY to right.
Comments:
1- The V24 was a twofer discovery along with the V24A which is the plated discovery coin. The Later die states that are claashed with no transfer
are VAM-24. The clashed episode with both transfer and aligator are VAM-24A
