1885-O VAM-11 Far Date, High O, Die Gouge Wreath

Discovered by Oscar Simpson, March 1977. Revised by Weth August 2018
11 III2 10 - C3c (Far Date, High O, Die Gouge Wreath) (181) I-2 R-5
Obverse II3 10- Date at very left edge of far lateral position.
Die Marker- Single vertical polishing line at top left outside of ear.

Reverse C3c- O mint mark set high and upright. Short wide die gouge in second leaf cluster from bottom of left wreath. Occurs on earliest die state.

1. VAM-11A eliminated. Die gouge wreath leaves occurs on earliest die state.
2. Multiple die pairs may exist.
