Discovered by Bill Van Note, November 1998.
8(revised) III24 · C3b (18 in Denticles, Far Date, S Set Left) (187) I-3 R-5
Obverse III24– Tops the 18 showing in denticles as raised vertical bar on left side of space between denticles between 18. Raised curved bars in two adjacent denticle spaces to right of first 8. Date set further right than normal. Some specimens show a tiny die chip on left side of neck point.

1. This VAM is interesting since it has three VAM lives. The first would be NO SPIKE at neckline, SPIKE at neckline and finally the Spike is attached to a full Blown Break. I'm going to show you all these different life cycles of this marriage in the following sets of Large Coin Full Pictures. (RH)
