1884-O VAM-39 Far Date, Doubled Arrows

Discovered by R. Patchin, December 1999.
39 III24 · C3v (Far Date, Doubled Arrows) (181) I-3 R-5
Reverse C3v– Slight doubling on arrow feathers, shafts and heads on lower edge and some feathers between legs. II O mint mark filled almost flush.

Comments:
1. The mint mark may be partially or completely filled. VAM-5 also has a filled mint mark.
2. VAM 32.2 also shows doubling on the arrow shafts, but not as strong as VAM 39. Mint mark position is slightly different as well.
