Discovered by Jim Baxter, November 1977.
This coin is a Hot 50 Morgan VAM.

Obverse III215– Tops of 188 showing in denticles as raised straight bar between denticles below 1. Raised curved bar in denticle space below first 8. Raised curved bar with straight top between denticles below second 8, and short curved bar in next left denticle space.
Reverse C3p– II O mint mark tilted left, re-punched with original showing as a curved line centered at bottom of opening.

1. A PUP on this coin is the die gouge at the top left side of O in DOLLAR.
2. This coin is often found with a very weak strike in the center of the coin.
