Discovery 2014 - pacificwr
32 III2 32 - C3a (Tripled 1, Doubled 8) (181) I-3 R-5
Obverse III2 32 - Tripled 1 at top and doubled on right side of vertical shaft plus strongly doubled at top left and right of base. Left 8 slightly doubled at left inside of both loops and 3 at bottom inside of lower loop.
Die marker - Die roughness at back of Liberty head neck. Shallow jaw & upper neck lines.
1. WOW! Really strongly tripled and dbld 1 plus slightly dbld left 8 & 3. Unusual die roughness at back of Liberty head neck. Different than VAM 14 dbld 1 which has a higher die crack to top of 1 crossbar.
2. Such strongly tripled /dbld 1 should have been reported by now - don't know why it wasn't.
