1883-O VAM-51 Low 3, O Tilted Slightly Right, Overlapping Reeding

Discovered by Bill Van Note, March 2005.
51 III28 · C3h (Low 3, O Tilted Slightly Right, Overlapping Reeding) ( ? ) I-3 R-6
Reverse C3h- Mint mark centered and tilted slightly right.
Edge– Reeding on edge is overlapping for about 8 segments at 2 and between 4 & 5 or 11 & 2 or 12 & 3 o’clock. Slightly doubled reeding at 9 or 7 o’clock of 15 segments.

1. Overlapped reeding on this VAM occurs in two places, can be seen in multiple locations and is always approximately 83 degrees apart.
