1882-S VAM-11 Doubled 882 & Cap Top, S Tilted Left

Discovered by Margaret Prang, February 1974. Revised 2017

Obverse III2 10 - Doubled 882 with left 8 strongly on left inside and slightly on right outside of upper loop with spikes between loops on both sides, right 8 strongly on left outside of upper loop and slightly at bottom outside of lower loop and has a die chip between loops on right side, and 2 on left side of upper loop. Phrygian cap slightly doubled on top edge.
Die marker - Diagonal polishing lineS in Y of LIBERTY.
Reverse C3b -
Die marker - Polishing lines in wing-neck gap.

2. This reverse shared with VAM-11,11A, VAM-18, VAM-23, and VAM-25.
