1882-P VAM-20 8 in Denticles, Metal in Date, Doubled Upper Reverse

Discovered by Bill Van Note, November 1998.
20 III2 20 · C3b (8 in Denticles, Metal in Date, Doubled Upper Reverse) (176) I-4 R-6 (R-4???)
Obverse III2 20 – Top of 8 showing in two adjacent denticle spaces between 8's as two raised and curved lines. Metal in both 8's and 2 similar to VAM-1C.
Reverse C3b – Doubled tops of In God We Trust and slightly bottom inside of TED STATES.
Die marker - Vertical die scratch on 2 & 3 inner feathers from bottom of eagle's left wing.

1. Same Obverse as the VAM1C.
2. This reverse die was used on VAM-21, VAM-20 , and VAM 32.
