Discovered by Charles Wallace, June 1966.

Obverse III2 1 – Normal die of type III2 with thick 1 in date. The top knob and serif of the tail almost touch the curve of the 2.
Some specimens show die chip between loops on left of first 8.
Reverse C3a – Normal die of C3 type.
1. Since VAM numbers are assigned by die classification, and not just by die pairing, multiple die pairings may exist.
