This coin is a WOW! Morgan VAM.
25C (revised) III2 25- C3a (Doubled 1-80, Clashed Obverse n, We, ust, Clashed Reverse M) (180) I-3 R-5
Obverse III2 25 - Clashed die later than VAMs 25B and 25A with die crack at bottom of 880. Shallow partial incuse n of IN from reverse showing next to Liberty head neck, partial incuse We from reverse in space between hair locks at right of designer's initial M and partial incuse ust of Trust from reverse showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. Some specimens show multiple u claash lines.
Reverse C3a - Clashed die with faint raised designer's initial from obverse showing above d in GOD. Later die state from VAMs 25B and 25A with die crack at UN of UNITED and two leaves disconnected above N in ONE as in 25A but not 25B..
1. There are two totally different clash episodes of the VAM-25 dies. One of the easier ways to tell the difference is that the lower left wreath leaves on the "25C" are disconnected from polishing. The die progression is believed to be 25, 25B episode, got polished for 25A, then 25C.
