1880-O VAM-15 Doubled 80 & Ear, Medium O

Discovered by Maurice Dubreuil, February 1975.
15(revised) III212 · C3b ( Doubled 80 & Ear, Medium O) (176) I-2 R-3
Obverse III212– Doubled 80 in date. Second 8 doubled slightly at lower left outside of upper loop. 0 doubled strongly at lower left inside and lower left outside surface. Ear slightly doubled at right and left inside.
Reverse C3b– Letters of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA have die chips and breaks at top on some specimens. II O mint mark.

Comments:
1. Same obverse as VAM-72
2. VAM-15 and VAM-15A have different Reverses. V15 has gouged star and NO vertical threadlike impression in UTF's
