1879-S VAM-33 Doubled 18-9, S Set Right

33(revised) III2 17 ∙ C3k (Doubled 18-9 & Right Reverse, S Set Right, Acid Treated Wreath Leaves) (182) I-3 R-5
Obverse III2 17 – Slightly doubled 18-9 with 1 below base, 8 below lower loop and 9 at left outside oflower loop. Some very slightly tripled left and right stars. Die marker- Single diagonal polishing line at inside and right outside of ear. (Same obverse die as former VAM-71.)
Reverse C3k – Medium IV S mint mark set right with diagonal polishing line in lower loop. Slightly doubled bottom inside of AMERICA letters and outside leaves of right wreath towards rim. Acid treated leaves above ON, U & IT of UNITED to strengthen them. Die marker-- Curved thread-like die impression on top right leaf of first lower leaf cluster in right wreath. (Same reverse die as former VAM-71.)
