1879-P VAM-33 Doubled Date

Discovered by Martin Field, March 1983(1879-P VAM-33.1) and Mark Witkower (1879-P VAM-33.2) 2019.
33 III2 13 ∙ C3a (Doubled Date) (194)
Obverse III2 31(VAM 33.1) – Doubled 8-9 in date. 8 doubled on left inside of upper loop. 9 doubled on left side outside of both loops.
Obverse III2 31(VAM 33.2) – Doubled date with 1 as short bar at top of lower crossbar base left side, 8 at left inside of upper loop, 7 at lower tip of upper crossbar and 9 at left outside of upper loop.
Die marker - ' The polishing lines in TY of LIBERTY.
Reverse C3a(VAM-33.1) - Pitted die from rust in lower left wreath and above D of DOLLAR.
Reverse C3a(VAM-33.2) -
Die marker - Diagonal die polishing lines in wreath bow.

Comments:
1. There are two die pairs that make up the 1879-P VAM-33 (1879-P VAM33.1 and 1879-P VAM-33.2)
