1879-P VAM-13 Doubled 18-9

Obverse III2 13 – Doubled 18-9 in date. Slightly doubled 1 at top left point, on surface of top crossbar and strongly at top left and right of bottom crossbar. 8 doubled at top inside of lower loop. Slightly doubled 9 at left outside of upper loop and nose tip, lips and chin.
Reverse C3a – Long vertical die scratch in tail feathers above eagle’s right talon.

Comments:
1. VAM 13 does exist - it is the exact obverse of VAM 54 paired with a different reverse die. See Van Allen plates in the 2006 update.
