1879-O VAM-33 Doubled Phrygian Cap, Doubled Left Reverse

Discovered by Herb Zepke, August 2000.
33 III2 25 · C3i (Doubled Phrygian Cap, Doubled Left Reverse) (176) I-3 R-6
Obverse III2 25 – Slightly doubled top and back edge of Phrygian cap, URIBUS UNUM letters on top towards rim and all right stars towards rim.
Reverse C3i – Hub doubling of left reverse same as 1878 P C3b reverse with doubling of UNITED STATES bottom inside, I of In at top, top right edge of eagle’s right wing and left edge of some leaves in left wreath. II O mint mark set slightly high with slight tilt to right.
Die marker– Thin line thru denticle spaces below DOLL.
