Obverse III2 1 – Normal die with closed 9. Some examples have die chips between the loops of the 8 on the left side.
Reverse C3a – Oval medium mint mark centered and upright. Normal die.
1- Since VAM numbers are assigned by die classification, and not just by die pairing, multiple die pairings may exist.
