Obverse II 40– PLURIBUS UNUM doubled towards rim with L doubled on left and right sides. Slightly doubled LIBERTY on left side, front of LIBERTY band and top of Phrygian cap. Obverse also used with VAM-94
Reverse B2a– Lightly engraved shallow feathers between eagles right wing and leg. Slightly doubled D in Dollar at bottom. Die chip on upper right of loop of R in AMERICA. R in trust NOT broken. Die later used on 1879-S Vam-4, 23, and 25

1. If everything looks correct and there is NO raised lump on the R in AMERICA, then it's a VAM-94.
2. See 1878-S VAM-1C which was eliminated but may need to be re-submitted with a 95.
