1878-S VAM-79 Doubled LIBERTY, Broken B, Engraved Wing Feather

Discovered by Calvin Cherry, November 2002.
79 II 7 · B2aj (Doubled LIBERTY, Broken B, Engraved Wing Feather) (184) I-2 R-4
Obverse II 7– Same die as for VAM 9 but not concave.
Reverse B2aj - Vertical die scratch on eagle's right wing. Same die as VAM-52.
Comments:
1- II7 Obverse is shared with VAMs 9, 21, 53
2- The broken B in PLURIBUS identifies the obverse.
